I bought the legend III and I researched it extensively.. the first problem is when I got my first fire in the stove, it was very acrid smell from the paint(well aware of the issue)..we had to move out of the house for a couple days as it was really bad.. then I had issues with over firing and at bedtime when I half filled it the stove took off and got really hot(more smell) so after a week I called to get help.. first fella was useless and all I got was its not the stoves fault and he pretty much slushed me off.. then he finally connected me to a tech(Martin)..it was over firing due to excessive air(not the damper as it was closed) and we started the process to fix the issue..at least I'm getting some answers and hope to fix this issue.. some workers just don't care but Marin was excellent.. he explained everything and never blamed me at all. I live in a very windy place and this stove was going to be a liability for sleeping and going away.. it sure does push out the BTU's and if you're right there its ok but I can't babysit a stove all the time.. thanks to Martin I have a better knowledge of the issues and we can try to fix it. thank you
