So far so good. Finally cold enough to have a couple of evening fires that kept the heat from running most of the night. Easy to start but have to give it some time before you can fully close the door. Once it gets established it will throw some heat. Best to wait until glowing embers before reloading, then a couple of pieces and its good for another couple of hours. Let the added wood catch well before closing the door. Beautiful viewing area, love seeing the fire after 40years of a stove that had solid doors. Glad we made the change, especially to the higher wood box when compared to our older model.
