I ordered the Escape 1800 on pedestal. What I received was a fireplace insert instead. After playing phone tag for a week I finally got an answer for them to pick up the wrong unit. I was told once they pick it up they will ship out the new unit. That took 3 days for them to ship it once they picked up the wrong unit. After speaking with the company directly they wouldn’t do anything to compensate me. I had already hired chimney people to come out that were paid for to install it. On top of that I took off of work to have it installed and I lost money due to not working. Drolet wouldn’t compensate me due to their mistake.
