The only concern I had when ordering this stove was its ability to hold a fire for 8 houirs. It is rated at 5 hours. I have absolutely no trouble holding a fire for 8 hours using dry fir wood. It will usulallly hold a fire for 10 hours. Have been using the stove now for 2 plus months and couldn't be happier. The only thing I didn't like was the fit of the fresh air intake kit but it does work and in all a very minor issue. I am heating new construction of 900 Sq.Ft. (85Sq.M)
