We installed our new Bistro cookstove as part of a major kitchen/dining room/living room remodel this past summer. The weather has cooled now, so we have started to use the Bistro, mainly for heating our home. The stove puts out great heat, and is easy to light and load with firewood. This past weekend, though, we inaugurated the cookstove oven with a batch of pumpkin raisin/chocolate-chip muffins. They turned out great! Looking forward to a toasty warm home this winter and lots of home-baked breads, muffins, cookies, etc.!
