We love this stove! We’ve been burning for two months now and simply cannot imagine our winter life without it now. We heat our home exclusively with wood and this stove delivers! I have an engineering background and after two months of use I cannot recommend any changes to the design, materials, or workmanship. This stove exceeds our expectations in every way. Ash clean out is a breeze. We did recently install the optional electric blower because we wanted to quickly bring our home up 10 degrees after being gone all day. For those who complain about the fan noise… it’s not the motor that drives the drum-style fan.. the noise is being generated by the drum fan blades as they gulp and push air into your stove. All drum-style fans sound this way and any other (more quiet) fans would be much less efficient in pushing air and isn’t that the real reason you’d buy these fans? Drolet… thank you for this wonderful stove. Hats off to your engineering department and those that manufacture these beauties. I couldn’t have done better. Well done!
