The Drolet Escape 1800 replaced an old Franklin stove. It is amazing in how much heat it puts out even at a lower air intake setting. It is in our living room with high ceilings where it easily heats the space as well as the adjacent kitchen and den. We had looked at some more expensive stoves. The Drolet is a bargain in comparison without giving up performance. The Drolet does qualify for a tax credit.
