Purchased Bistro to eliminate creosote issues we had with previous cook stove. Been using this 2 days and it seems like it will work for us. Thank you Drolet for giving us an efficient option for both cooking and heating! One improvement that is necessary is to add a cooktop ring burner to the cast iron top... doesn't need to be centered... whatever works for casting. This is vital for cleaning above the oven without having to remove chimney pipe...I don't require it for cooking, but other people might. Other nuances I have thought of can't really be considered improvements...it is a solid stove and you can't have everything in one... it's perfect... just add a removable ring in top casting!
