IF CANADIANS don't know what cold is, ,,Well this CANADIAN Built stove, is amazing!, All is quality, easy, to use, clean tray easy and extremely HOT heat I built a new home , had to buy a stove before permits issued,. DROLETT 3000 HD , with a 19' ceiling, RUNNING 10' strip down 35' in main great room. I have a wall mounted fan, up at 9' that points upward to the section of high roof. Most have asked how i keep the room warm , thinking all the warm up in roof canal. WELL, not to worrie, i have a the best Wood stove. I tryed using just my mini splits and space heaters, this month, With temps in 30's days and 14 after 9pm night, got my first ever $420 bill, for a month, SOO turned off all and woke to 47 degrees INSIDE, SO started to use Drolett, and within 20 minutes, i was shocked as to how hot the house became, YEP, even with the 19' center! I turned on the wall fan that faces 19' heigh x 10 x 35' long stretch of ceiling, and it blows up and pushes down the warm at other end, then once the room & slab floor gets warm in an hour, this house is so comfortable, my DROLETT IS SET ON THE LOWEST FLUE SETTING ,,, after it hits hot, and left on all night, I could not imagine how hot it would get if i had standard 8' or 9' ceilings & used this wood stove. i did not put in a built in blower, but use 2 small wood stove fans (that are moved by heat) as i can adjust direction, aimed at the lower 9' side areas. Well its beautiful and modern design too boot.
