I don't like the door opening and floor of stove at the same level so when you stoke the stove, burning coals come out the door onto the lip and then possibly onto the floor/hearth. Our Blaze king had a lower interior floor than door so no danger. The small stove (23" by 20" box) holds two short 1/2 logs only, so feed it every 1 or two hours, and it won't burn all night. I think the design lends itself to fire danger.
