Easy to install. The most difficult part was moving it from the garage into the basement. The first, small fire after completing all but the ductwork heated our 2,100 sq ft home to 76 degrees by gravity feed. Over a 24 hour period it consumed only 6 logs: 18" long by roughly 7" diameter. Its efficiency is a drastic improvement over the wood burning furnaces and fireplaces I grew up using.
