The door gasket does not completely seal the door. There is a gap at the gasket ends. Also, the fire doesn’t dial down when I shut the stove down, including the damper, and the outside air intake. A smaller fire will dampen down good, but if it’s a bit bigger it doesn’t dampen down at all. I’m happy with the overall quality. I’m wondering if it’s supposed to be air tight. It definitely isn’t. I let it smolder on purpose to find the leaks, and it leaks like a sieve out of many different seams. When I properly operate it, the draft is real good, but the would burns very quickly due to the fact I can’t dampen it down enough. All the louvers are working fine. I’m hoping a fixed door gasket will solve my problems.
