Polar Vortex beware!!! I am very impressed so far. I upgraded from an old Kingsman Monarch. I seem to be using far less wood , which is what I expected. The HT-2000 is a very nice looking stove. The chimney smoke seems to be about half of the old style stove. Less energy going out and burning much more efficiently. Yes I would recommend it to a friend.
